What is a Fiduciary
“An individual in whom another has placed the utmost trust and confidence to manage and protect property or money. The relationship wherein one person has an obligation to act for another's benefit”. - Definition of a Fiduciary
A Fee Only Fiduciary Relationship is quite unique in the Financial Services industry as we will not take a commission or back end compensation in any form. Being a Fiduciary is simple really; serve your clients first and do what is in their best interest in all cases. Many certifications and financial industry titles convey a belief that a person is an advisor or an advocate for a client; however, if an advisor takes back end payments or hidden commissions, how can they hold themselves out as an advocate? Many financial services professionals are subject to quota systems, corporate profit targets, and other conflicts that take away from their ability to serve their clients in an unbiased fashion. As an independent fee only Registered Investment Advisor, we are not subject to these conflicts. We invite you to come in and see how we are different.
