Compensation
The Investment Services Industry has essentially created an “investment fee language”, and often this language is just too complicated. We will never accept a commission, back end payment, or hidden form of compensation. Our clients’ money is theirs and we get compensated in three distinct fashions:
- by the hour
- for a specific task
- mostly as a percentage of assets usually close to 1%.
For example, if your advisory fee was 1% and your account had a daily average of 1,000,000 then you would pay 10,000 in fees, then if your daily average dropped to 950,000 and your advisory free was 1% then you would 9,500 a year. The bottom line is our fees are transparent and we have a financial incentive for our clients to realize gains.
